Occupational risk prevention is not optional: Law 31/1995 requires every company with employees to organize its preventive activity. The most common approach in Asturian SMEs is to hire an external prevention service (SPA), an accredited body that takes on the technical management of prevention.

Is the external prevention service mandatory?

The obligation is to organize prevention; the external prevention service is one of the four arrangements under the Prevention Services Regulation (Royal Decree 39/1997) for meeting it. I help you choose the one that matches your size, activity and risks:
